Timea is a 22 year-old Romanian girl from Timisoara a town in the south- western part of Romania. She graduated from high school in 2008 and attended University of Marketing for 1 year, but she quit because she didn't like it. She would like to study Psychology. She is unemployed.
She wants to be an au pair because she wants to start again in a different country. She doesn't think she has something to keep her in Romania. She wants to be an au pair for one or two years.
Timea likes reading, socialising with friends, photography, listening to music, dancing, cooking, pets, going to the cinema and surfing the web.
She smokes, but wants to give up.
She looked after her step sister who is 7 years old now. They usually spend 2 or 3 hours together and they go to a park, play some games or just spend some time together (she would like to visit her more often, but her step Mum doesn't agree). She also looked after her ex-boyfriends niece (who was 5 years old). She looked after her during the summer. She spent almost all day long with the girl (from 8 am until 5 pm) as her parents were working and the kindergarten is closed during the summer. She played with the girl, watched cartoons, cooked for her etc.
Timea's English is very good; she studied it for 10 years. She also speaks Spanish and Hungarian.
Timea is prepared to care for children or older children, to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), washing, ironing, cooking for children, driving, cooking for the family and driving.
Timea describes herself as patient, energetic, talkative, friendly, caring, polite, disciplined and hard working.
Timea eats almost everything; when she feels the need, she goes on a diet and eats mainly vegetables and fruits.
Timea has passed her driving test in February 2007, but she doesn't drive too often.
She lives in an apartment in Timisoara with her Mum. Her Mum works as a medical assistant. Her parents divorced when she was 6 years old; her Father has a new family.
