Basic Information:

This candidate has been placed and in the UK but is looking for a new family.

Teodora is a 26 year-old Romanian girl from Oradea. She is a qualified teacher. She completed pedagogic High school and then graduated university with a degree in social work. She also completed a Masters degree in Educational Management. She is qualified to teach in primary school or kindergarten.

She finds it hard to make a life as a teacher and wants to save enough money so she can eventually start a family.

Teodora would consider any location.

She enjoys playing guitar (also teaching), dancing - traditional and society dance (when younger she entered competitions across Romania), going on trips & camping with friends in the mountains. She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Toedora loves working with children which is why she went into teaching. She also likes to do other voluntary activities with different groups of children. She has worked in NGO organizations helping children and families with various problems - financial, one parent families and so on. She organized different activities - creative things, sporting, dance and musical activities. She was also in the scouts from 15 years old, and a scout leader from 17 until 21 years old. She is a qualified teacher and currently works in a school in the same village where her Grandmother lives, so she stays with her. As the eldest sister by 6 years of three siblings she was always helping her Mother with them. She was used to preparing meals for them, to help bath them and get them ready for school. Teodora has a boyfriend called Daniel and they want to come to the UK as a couple or at least to be very close by each other.

Language Skills:

Her English is excellent. We had a great conversation and she speaks very well. She also speaks French very well, and has intermediate Spanish, Italian and a little Hungarian. She has a talent for languages.

Housework:

Teodora is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying /vacuuming /dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), washing, ironing, driving, cooking for children and caring for pets.

Character:

Teodora thinks that she is a sociable person. She was obviously very saddened last year by her brother's death but she is a very happy person. She is a very reliable and responsible person and a good worker.

Eating Habits:

Teodora enjoys eating different food. She has worked with English people and enjoys the type of food they ate together. She won a scholarship to Belgium in her 3rd year and was used to eating other things.

Driving:

Teodora passed her driving test last year in 2009, but was driving before this with her parents who were teaching her to drive.

Family:

Her parents are divorced. Her Father remarried and lives close by. Her Mother lives in Oradea. She lives in a village called Les, 15km from Oradea with her Grandmother. She has two younger sisters - Georgiana 22 who lives with her boyfriend, and Elena who is 20 years old and lives in Germany She did have a brother Todor who would be 21 but he tragically died last year.
