Ruth has experience with children. She participated to different work camps in Germany and Ireland. The first one was in Germany and she worked with children of different ages (their theme was “the wild, wild east”). She had to entertain the children, to play with them and to build different things to help the children feel that they can be very useful. The last work camp that she took part was in Germany (near Berlin) and she was living with other school colleagues and was looking after children with different mental or physical disabilities – even though her main duty wasn’t looking after children, after work she always played with them and tried to entertain them. She was a summer au pair in Germany. She had to look after a 14 year-old girl and a 16 year-old boy. She was also teaching them Spanish and French as the children were old enough to learn other languages. She also played the piano and the guitar.
Her English is very good. She graduated from the Faculty of Languages in Madrid and her main specialisation is English.
Her Mother tongue is Spanish. She also speaks French, German and Romanian.
