Renata S - 28 years old    

Basic Information:

Renata is a 28 year-old girl who lives in Oradea, a city in western Romania. She was a student of Biology, but had to quit because she couldn't afford to pay the university fees anymore. She is currently unemployed.

She wants to come to the UK for a year to earn sufficient to return to Romania to complete her university and because she likes children so knows she will enjoy the job. Her Mother suffered an accident and is now paralysed so working in the UK will help her to support her own family.

Renata likes gymnastics - she practiced rhythmic gymnastics for 22 years. She also enjoys watching TV and dancing.

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Renata has experience with children. She was a gymnastics teacher for girls at a school in Oradea. She taught them rhythmic gymnastics. The girls were different ages ranging from 5 years old to 12 years old. She enjoyed the experience and did this for one year. She has also been taking care of a friend's child from the age of 2 until currently (the girl is 5). She was spending many hours each day taking care of the girl while the girl's mother was working. She says that she has been spending more time at her friend's house looking after the girl than she was in her own home. She would like to care for younger children, but wouldn't say no to looking after older ones.

English Skills:

Her English is fair, and she managed to understand most of my questions without having to translate.

Housework:

Renata is prepared to care for babies and children, light housework, laundry, shopping (Food, Groceries), caring for pets, cooking for children and the family.

Character:

Renata considers that she is active, neat and tidy, helpful and co-operative.

Driving:

Renata has not passed her driving test.

Family:

Renata lives with her Mother and Father and her Brother. Her Mother and Father are both 57 years old and her Brother is 32 years old.
