Basic Information:

Monica is a 24 year-old Romanian girl from Oradea. She graduated last summer (2008) the Faculty of Law. She is currently working as a secretary for an insurance company.

Monica is very interested in coming to the UK and being close to her friend Florina T since they are good friends from childhood. As she worked with children for 4 years during high school she thinks she would be very suitable. She also wants to visit the UK to see different places. She would like to be placed in a town or a city because she likes living in a more crowded place.

Monica likes reading (especially novels), taking pictures and walking.

She is a non smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Childcare Experience: Monica has experience with children. She was studying at the pedagogic high school in Oradea and so had a lot of practice with children of different age during this period. She was doing this 4hours a day on Mondays and Fridays. The children were at the kindergarten and in primary school. She had to invent a lot of games for children who were at the kindergarten and to help the ones who were attending primary school with their homework. During the summer she goes to her grandparents and she is taking care of her cousin. He is 10 years old and is very active. She usually spends 5 hours a day with him while his parents are working. They play a lot, they go to the river where the boy plays in the sand, builds sand castles or make dams in the river with little stones.

English Skills:

Her English is good. Some phrases needed to be explained to her but generally she understood most of the questions and topics we discussed during the interview straight away.

Housework:

Monica is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), care for babies and children, washing, ironing, gardening, handiwork, caring for pets and cooking for children.

Character:

Monica considers that she is active, patient and kind.

Driving:

Monica passed her driving test in 2006 and is driving a few times each year.

Family:

Her Mother is 45 years old and her Father is 55 years old. Her Mum is retired and her Father works for the national railways. Her sister is 22 years old and is a student in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy.
