Anamaria is a 27 year-old Romanian girl from Bistrita, a town in the north-central part of Romania. She moved to Cluj Napoca 3 months ago because she wanted to live in a bigger city. She graduated from the Faculty of Geography and Tourism. She has a teaching degree, being specialised in children aged between 7 and 14 years old. She is unemployed.

She wants to be an au pair because she likes children and has experience with them. She also wants to travel, to meet new people and to try to make a life in the UK. She is available as soon as possible and wants to be an au pair for at least a year.

Anamaria likes keeping fit - she goes 5 times a week to the gym, she likes running, cycling and everything that involves movement. She likes going to picnics and watching cartoons. She also likes animals and spending time with them (she has a dog).

She is a non smoker.

Childcare Experience:

She helped her best friend with her son - she did this since she gave birth and until the boy was 4 years old. Because her friend had no one in the city and her husband was working in another city, Anamaria bonded with the boy and spent a lot of time with him. She used to read stories to him, colour books, watch cartoons with him, take him to the park to play with other children, etc. She also looked after her nephew. She spent this winter holiday with him. The boy is 9 years old and because he goes to a special needs school, he needs more attention. She helped him with his homework, played different useful games for him, cooked for him and others. She also used to visit her nephews' colleagues and spent some time with them, drawing and playing with them. During her classes to obtain her teaching degree she had many classes about children's psychology where they learned about children's needs, their abilities and how to communicate with them.
