Melinda B - 33 years    

Basic Information:

Melinda is a 33 year-old Romanian woman from the city of Oradea. She graduated university with a degree in Biology. She completed her 3 year nursing training in September 2009. She has been looking for a job since this time but opportunities are very limited.

Melinda has no preference for location. She has two girl friends somewhere in the London area, but not necessarily; she would accept a position in a village or a town too.

She enjoys reading, going to the cinema, theatre and concerts, going on trips to the mountains with her friends. She has been a member of a fitness club and enjoys cycling and running. She also enjoys walking with her dogs.

She is a non-smoker

Childcare Experience:

For two years Melinda had the task of taking care of three girls aged 1, 3 and 5 years. She enjoyed this experience a lot and got on well with the children. She had to do most things you'd expect with them - preparing meals, taking them out, playing with them, bathing and putting to bed. As part of her nurse training, she has spent periods on children's wards in the hospital and has trained in first aid.

Language Skills:

Her English is fair/good. She is easy to understand. She had problems with just a few expressions I used. She also speaks Hungarian.

Housework:

Melinda is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying /vacuuming /dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), care for children and older children, washing, ironing, cooking for children and caring for pets.

Character:

Melinda's friends would say that she is very truthful. She comes over as sincere, calm and compassionate. Her biggest weakness can be that she is quite direct.

Eating Habits:

Melinda doesn't usually eat much meat. She prefers vegetarian food although isn't a vegetarian. She likes pasta, soup. She eats fruit.

Driving:

Melinda has not passed her driving test

Family:

Melinda lives with her Mother in a small town called Alesd. They have two dogs and a cat.
