Basic Information:

Elisabeta is a 18 year-old Romanian girl from Nadlac, a town in the west of Romania. She is attending high school, but she will graduate in June. She wants to come in the UK and stay for at least 1 year.

She wants to be an au pair because she likes children, but she also wants to improve her English skills and make new friends. She would like to be placed in a city or town because she likes to spend her free time with as many friends as possible.

Elisabeta likes to walk, to take as much exercise as possible. She likes swimming, aerobics, roller skating and badminton.

She is a non smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Elisabeta has experience with children. Because her mother is almost all year working in Slovakia, she had to take care of her little brother since he was 3 years old. She describes herself as a 'mother for her brother'. She is taking him to school, picking him from school, helping him with his homework. When her grandmother wasn't home she used to cook for him, but she sais this is not her best quality. She sees the opportunity of coming to work as an au pair as a useful and pleasant experience.

English Skills:

Her English was basic and she would like to attend English classes in the UK to improve her language skills.

Housework:

Elisabeta is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), ironing, washing, cooking for children and caring for pets.

Character:

Elisabeta considers herself as sociable, funny, helpful, friendly, active, polite, flexible, responsible and disciplined. She thinks that sometimes when she is really upset she can be selfish.

Driving:

Elisabeta has not passed her driving test.

Family:

She lives with her Grandparents and her Mother. Her Mother is working in Slovakia for more than 2 years. She has two brothers. The elder one (21 years old) is a professional dancer in Slovakia.
