Basic Information:

Diana is a 25 year-old Romanian girl from Oradea. She graduated from the Faculty of European Studies in 2008. She is working now, but will be made redundant soon.

She wants to be an au pair because wants to see what other countries offer to young people and because she thinks the UK is an interesting country. She likes children and thinks that a cultural exchange will be useful for her future. She would like to be placed in the South part of the UK because she would like a place where is not raining so much.!!

Diana likes reading books, swimming, playing badminton and jogging. She likes pets very much and enjoys watching movies.

She is a non smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Diana has experience with children. She is working with children in Oradea and in her home village. During the winter she is taking care of a 12 year-old boy. She picks him up from school at 5 pm, takes him to his home and spends 3 or 4 hours with him until his mother comes home. She is helping 3 girls and one boy with some English classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. She goes to one of the girl's house and spends about one hour and a half with them. She was in the UK working at a factory in 2005 and at the end of her stay in the August she worked for one month in a private kindergarten in London. She would have stayed longer, but her Visa was expiring and she had to come home.

English Skills:

Her English is very good and we had a pleasant conversation.

Housework:

Diana is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), care for children, washing, ironing, gardening and driving.

Character:

Diana considers that she is sociable, patient and tenacious.

Driving:

Diana has not passed her driving test.

Family:

She lives with her Mother and her Father. Her Mother is 50 and works in a factory. Her Father is also 50 years old and is a builder.
