Daniela is a 34 year-old Romanian girl from Oradea, a city in the western part of Romania. She graduated the Faculty of Management in 2008. She worked as an agent for 9 years and as a secretary for 2 years. She is currently unemployed.

She wants to be an au pair because she wants to improve her English skills and because she likes children. She wants to give herself a new beginning and to meet new people. She has no preferences regarding the location.

Daniela likes taking pictures, painting, listening to music, dancing and walking. She also likes socialising with friends, going to the cinema and the theatre, cooking, and surfing the web.

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Daniela has experience with children She was a babysitter for a Romanian family in Holland last year for 2 months. She received the offer before, but she accepted only when she was made redundant. The family only needed someone for a short period and that's why she didn't stay longer. She lived with them and her main duties were looking after the children and helping them with the cleaning. She looked after 3 children: two boys (10 and 5 years old) and a girl (2 years old). She had to take/ pick up the younger boy to the kindergarten and had to take the girl with her because she couldn't leave her alone. She had to respect a strict eating program for the children because that's what the parents asked. She also had to take them to make as much exercise as possible. She used to keep them busy by painting, playing different games with them or singing simple games. She also looked after a friend's boy. He is 2 years old and she usually looks after him once a week, every week. She is not left alone with the child because his Mum is there, but she needs to have her own time or to do some house chores.

English Skills:

Her English is basic and I had to help her sometimes in order for her to express her ideas.

Housework:

Daniela is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), care for babies, children or older children, washing, ironing, gardening, caring for pets, cooking for children and for family.

Character:

Daniela considers that she is sociable, independent, uses initiative, responsible, honest, positive attitude, polite and disciplined.

Eating Habits:

Daniela doesn't eat food very often. She doesn't have any problem to change her diet and eat meat if the family likes it. She already did this in Holland so she knows she will adapt.

Driving:

Daniela has not passed her driving test.

Family:

She lives alone in an apartment in Oradea. Her Mother is 55 years old and is retired. She lives in a nearby village.
