Basic Information:

Cristina is a 21 year-old Romanian girl from Oradea, a city in the western part of Romania. She graduated the Faculty of Journalism in 2009. She is currently unemployed, but works part time as a promoter for different companies.

She wants to be an au pair because she likes children and they like her too. She also wants to come to the UK because her boyfriend works in London and she wants to live somewhere close to him.

Cristina likes reading, listening to music, dancing, walking, watching television and playing computer games. She also likes going to cinema (she likes comedies and horror movies) and practising sports like cycling, running, swimming, badminton and volleyball.

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Cristina has some experience with children because she took care of her cousin and her nephew. She looked after her cousin, Darius, since he was born. She moved with him during the summer holidays and when his Mum went to work she was left with the boy alone. She used to change his nappies, to play with him, to take him in the park, to prepare his meals. She also looked after her nephew, Rares (her sister's son). He is 7 months old. Her sister lives nearby and because she is a student she needs someone to look after her son when she has exams or when she needs to attend classes. Her sister leaves instructions for her because the boy is so little and Cristina never had problems with the baby.

English Skills:

Her English was good and I only had to repeat one or two questions in order for her to understand them.

She also speaks Spanish and French.

Housework:

Cristina is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), care for children or older children, washing, ironing and cooking for children.

Character:

Cristina considers that she is sociable, optimist, opened to new, funny, active, independent and polite. Her friends would say about her that she is a good listener and adviser.

Eating Habits:

Cristina usually eats anything, but doesn't like eating salty or very spicy. She usually cooks her own meals.

Driving:

Cristina has not passed her driving test.

Family:

She lives with her Mother (53 years old), her Father (56 years old) and her Brother. Her Mum is retired and her Dad is a worker for the city hall.
