ConstantinJ - 27 years old    

Basic Information:

Constantin is a 27 year-old Romanian boy from Miroslava, a village in the east of Romania. He graduated the Philosophy University in 2006. He is specialised in Social Work, so he has some relevant experience in this area.

He wants to be an au pair because he likes children, he loves travelling and he wants to know other cultures. He also wants to improve his English skills and make new friends. Another important thing for him is that this experience will be very useful in his future career in social work.

He has no preference regarding the location. He would be happy to live in a city or town, but he is more used to live in a village or in a rural area. Constantin likes to take as much exercise as possible. He enjoys a lot of sports like: basketball, cycling, hill walking, horse riding, running, table tennis and volleyball.

He is a non smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Constantin has a lot of experience with children. As part of his training at the university, he worked with different organizations or foundations. He used to have groups of children aged between 12-14 years. He took them twice a year to the seaside or to the mountains and stayed there for 3 weeks or a month. The children were from poor families or orphans. They had different programmes specially designed to help the children know themselves better, to face problems in life, etc. His graduation paper was focused on bad communication between children and their parents and how to help a child who is dependent on computer/internet. He also took care of his brothers and sisters children. He has 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He is taking care of them every day because he is unemployed. He is feeding them, taking them for a walk in the park and helping them with their homework.

English Skills:

His English was basic and I had to repeat questions in order for him to understand them. He hopes that he will be chosen because of his experience and he knows that his English will improve if he will use it every day.

Housework:

Constantin is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), washing, ironing, cooking for children, gardening, handiwork, driving and caring for pets. He is also prepared to care for older or disabled children and for elderly.

Character:

Constantin considers himself as sociable, funny, neat and tidy, polite, hard-working, quiet, helpful, organiser, responsible and disciplined.

Driving:

Constantin has his driving licence since October 2008 and is driving once or twice a month.

Family:

lives with his Mother and Father. His Mother is 53 years old and is a housewife. His father is 55 years old and is working in the construction field as an engineer.
