Basic Information:

Angelica is an 18 year-old Romanian girl from the town of Nadlac in Western Romania. She is attending high school and will graduate in June. She wants to come to the UK and stay for at least 1 year. Long term who plans to attend university in one or two years and study child psychology.

Angelica prefers to be placed in a town or city if possible

She likes dancing, listening to music, pets & animals, photography, going swimming, to walk and going out with her friends. Other sports she enjoys are cycling, aerobics, roller skating and hill walking. Angelica likes to do arts and crafts with children.

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Angelica was a volunteer for a local organization, with experience working with children aged 7 - 11. She used to help poor families by spending time with their children or helping them to raise money by creating different crafts. She also has some general experience helping out with her younger sister and cousins and with a neighbor's daughter.. She stayed for some hours with them after she finished her school hours.

English Skills:

Her English is fair. She had no problem understanding everything we were talking about at the interview, but she wants to learn to express her ideas better. She also speaks Spanish at a good level and basic French.

Housework:

Angelica is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying /vacuuming /dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), washing, ironing, cooking for children and caring for pets.

Character:

Angelica considers that she is sociable, friendly, helpful and serious. She feels she is very good with children and has good relations with them. She believes that she will have a really good relationship with a family.

Driving:

Angelica has not passed her driving test.

Family:

Her Father is a border policeman and her Mother is working in a factory. She lives in Nadlac with her Mother and her 12 year old Sister.
