Aida is a 23 year-old Romanian girl from the city of Craiova in the southern part of Romania. Six years ago she moved to Timisoara. She graduated from the Faculty of Sociology, finishing as a Social Worker.
She wants to be an au pair because she worked with children for longer than 5 years. She likes working with children or elderly. Her long term career plan is working as a social worker. She has no preferences regarding the location.
She enjoys going on trips (she's been to Greece, Italy, Germany, Hungary and UK). She likes going with her friends at the seaside or at the mountains.
Aida worked in the last 5 years as a volunteer for different organisations and centres in Timisoara. She works with abandoned children, children with autism or different disabilities and elderly. She spends a lot of time helping abandoned children - teaches them how to write, improve their grammar or help them to easily integrate in the society. She helps one of her friends looking after her daughter (10 years old). She spends time with her every time her Mum works. She doesn't have any preferences regarding children's age.
Her English is fair. She is fluent in Italian. She also speaks French, German and Spanish (intermediate).
Aida is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying /vacuuming /dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), looking after babies, children or children with disabilities, elderly, washing, ironing and cooking for children.
Aida's friends would say that she is talkative, optimist (she smiles all the time), she trusts people (but she says sometimes this is a disadvantage), hard working and sociable.
Aida enjoys eating most things. She likes trying new type of food and doesn't have any food allergies. She likes when her family gathers around the table and they discuss what they've been doing during the day.
Aida obtained her driving license 4 years ago. She drove daily, but at the moment she doesn't have a car, but says she wouldn't have a problem driving in the UK.
She lives with her brother and her Mother. Her Mother has some health problems and she is not working. Her Father works in a different city. Her brother is 21 years old and is a student but also works part time in a supermarket.
