AdinaR - 20 years old    

Basic Information:

Adina is a 20 year-old Romanian girl from Arad, a city in the west of Romania. She is a student in the second year at the Faculty of Economics, specialising in Accountancy and Management Informatics.

She wants to be an au pair because she likes children and she would like to improve her English skills. She also wants to travel and to find out more about the English culture. She has no preference regarding the type of location where she will be placed.

Adina likes aerobics and playing badminton, watching TV and sightseeing. She is available from 1st of June and would like to work as an au pair for one year

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience:

Adina has some experience with children. She took care of her 5 year-old cousin 2 years ago. She spend all week long with him when his parents were out of town for the week. She got him up, helped him to wash his face and help him to find clothes and get dressed, fed him, took him for walks & in the park and to prepare him for bed in the evening. Adina also took care of some of her cousins and her neighbour's children. She used to take care of them for a few hours or up to all day when their parents where working. She thinks this experience made her understand that every child is different and she feels very confident now when she is taking care of a child. She prefers a non smoking family who don't drink (much).

English Skills:

Her English was fairly basic and I had to repeat some questions and slow things down a bit in order for her to understand.

Housework:

Adina is prepared to undertake light housework (tidying/ vacuuming/ dusting), shopping (Food, Groceries), washing, gardening and caring for pets.

Character:

Adina considers herself very friendly, responsible, funny, sociable, organizer and hard working. She thinks that her Mum would say about her that she is too talkative.

Driving:

Adina has not passed her driving test.

Family:

She lives alone in an apartment in Arad for 2 years. Her Mother is 40 and is retired. Her Father is 50 and is unemployed
